Thabo Daweti (born 3 June 1999) better known by his stage name, Strictly Deigh, is an independent South African Hip-Hop artist and songwriter, born in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal and relocated to the township of Khutsong, Carletonville (situated in the West Rand of South Africa) at a very young age, he started rapping at the age of 15.
He has always had the love of music, and draws inspiration across different genres and many musical artists.
His musical talent was discovered by a producer named Sleek Gee who at the time ran his own stable 'MoonHead Entertainment' and mentored him.
He released his first single titled 'Dreaming Big' in 2017 which gained him a lot of traction, and made its way to the waves of the local radio station 'Merafong FM' and was featured on the Hip-Hop show 'Bars and Rhymes' by then presenter and Dj, Dj Cazz.
Strictly Deigh has since then pursued his musical career under the guidance and mentorship of producer and music composer Sensei GumbaFire, and together have released Strictly Deigh's solo debut project, an extended play titled 'Tales & Dreams' in August 2018.
He has been featured by friend and frequent collaborator TitvsBeatz' for his debut project 'Magic Keys EP' which was released digitally in March 2019.
Strictly Deigh released a mixtape in June 2019 titled 'I Made It Possible' which is a follow-up to the EP 'Tales & Dreams' which are both executively produced by Sensei GumbaFire.
His musical style is a mixture of many elements and thus makes him a diverse artist and pushes to produce quality records.
