Strictly Deigh

Thabo Daweti (born 3 June 1999) better known by his stage name, Strictly Deigh, is a rapper and songwriter. Born in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal and relocated to Carletonville, Gauteng at a very young age, he started rapping at the age of 15. He has always had the love of music, and draws inspiration across different genres and from many musical artists such as the likes of Bob Marley, 2Pac, Eminem, J. Cole, ProVerb, Chris Brown and many others, and was inspired to drop "bars" of his own, but struggled articulating the skill of writing his own lyrics, until it was in 2015 when a producer named Sleek Gee who at the time ran his own label ''MoonHead Entertainment'' discovered him and saw potential, took him under his wing, motivated him, and directed him to the right path. With the mentorship of Sleek Gee, Strictly Deigh was able to site inspiration for his artistry and started taking music seriously.
Under Sleek's guidance he released a single "Dreaming Big" which was able to make its way to the waves of the local radio station. Strictly Deigh pursued his music career at a later stage under the guidance of producer Sensei GumbaFire, who helped him, and under his guidance he recently released his first solo debut project "Tales & Dreams EP" which has solidified his place in the West Rand music scene, and is a force to be reckoned with.
There's a lot we can expect from the young music maker, as he has proved with his debut project that he has the ability to make it big and compete for the grand spots with other household names in the musical industry.
