Ayanda Jiya

Ayanda Jiya (Born in 1987, from Klerksdorp, North West) is a versatile songstress signed under TinismDotc0m. she always had a burning desire for music and singing. She is influenced by alot of genres, mostly Gospel, Jazz, Neo Soul and RnB. With a family who supported her talent, she was nurtured in the comfort of her home to become a musician
and an exceptional songwriter.

2007 she met Magalela Mtshali aka Wax Lyrikal a rapper and beat maker. When he heard her sing,
he was inspired to create beats well suited for her vocal range and they
began working together. Later that year she was introduced to J.Smallz. He had a studio at his apartment where she finally recorded her very first song entitled “Rescue Me”.

Her love for music and becoming better at her craft began to grow even more. In 2010, Wax introduced Ayanda to Miso Tini and his studio partner Michael Sathekge aka Dotc0m Beatz. When they heard her sing, they decided that it would be in their interests to take her to greater heights.

Later on that year, she released a single entitled “Don’t Let Me Go”
Produced by Wax Lyrikal, then a song entitled “Im Grateful” produced by Dotc0m beatz and the response was remarkable. Because she was still in school she decided to put the music scene on hold till she completed her Diploma in Graphic Design.

In 2013 she went back to studio and worked on her single titled “Happier Alone” and shot a music video for it.

She then released an E.P entitled Very Intimate Conversations (V.I.C) which was then launched on the 18th May 2014 at the State Theatre in Pretoria.
